1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Justice for Pankaj Bhatwebsite and any related services (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site — including signing the petition or using it to contact a representative — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The campaign
The Site is a civic-advocacy and petition platform operated in support of Justice for Pankaj Bhat. It is intended to let members of the public express support and communicate, in their own words, with their elected representatives. Nothing on the Site is intended to defame any person or to state any fact as established; campaign content reflects the perspective of its author.
3. Eligibility and your account information
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Site. You agree that the information you provide (including your name and email) is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. When you ask us to send a message to a representative on your behalf, you confirm the message is your own and authorise its delivery.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, duplicate or automated signatures;
- upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene or infringing content;
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- interfere with, probe or disrupt the Site, its security or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorised access; or
- use the Site in violation of any applicable law.
We may remove content or restrict access that, in our reasonable judgement, violates these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, audio and the design and arrangement of the Site — is © 2026 Pankaj Bhat. All rights reserved. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without prior written permission. You may share links to the Site and use any materials we expressly designate as shareable for the purpose of supporting the campaign.
6. Confidentiality of communications
Any non-public communications, materials, briefings or information that Pankaj Bhat or the campaign provides to you, or that you receive in connection with the campaign and that is marked or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, must be kept strictly confidential. You agree not to disclose, publish or use such communications for any purpose other than supporting the campaign, without prior written consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
7. Non-disparagement
In consideration of your use of the Site, you agree that you will not make or publish any statement, written or oral, that is intended to disparage, denigrate or defame Pankaj Bhat or the campaign. This clause does not restrict you from making truthful statements required by law, from providing truthful testimony to a competent authority, or from exercising any right that cannot be lawfully waived.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any message you send will be received or acted upon by a representative. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site.
9. Governing law and binding arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended).
- The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties.
